From small private functions to large corporate events, Zahra’s School of Middle Eastern Dance provides the best in professional belly dance entertainment and instruction to make your event extra special! Your guests will thank you for it!

Zahra’s School offer a range of professional services for your special event, including:

Performances

One or more professional belly dancers are provided. Each dancer performs to a choreographed song(s) for approximately 25-30 minutes.Each dancer(s) have over 5 years experience and will wear professional belly dance attire for your special event. Each dancer provides her own music. There is also limited interaction between the audience and the dancer. A CD player or sound system should be supplied as well as a private change area for the dancer(s). The dance floor must be suitable to dance in bare feet or high heels.

Cost of Perfomances are $250/0.5 hr* per dancer and a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. Booking 3 weeks in advance is suggested. An additional travel fee may be added depending on location. If a dancer is left waiting for more than 15 minutes, from the time of her performance than an additional charge of $50 will be added. This is for each 30 minutes.

*Except for certain holidays like Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day including same day events a surcharge will apply.

IInstructional Events

A Professional Belly Dancer is provided to teach you and your guests the basic and/or intermediate belly dance movements. Your guests are then split into groups and are given the opportunity to choreography their own dance with the movements that they have just learned. Belly dance instruction typically lasts for up to 1 hour. Your Instructional event is a memory that will last a lifetime! This will include instruction and the use of our hip scarves to borow while lerning the belly dance movements.

Zahra's is able to provide the studio space for your special event or the dancer can travel to your event location*. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. Booking 3 weeks in advance is suggested.
